Ekol Engineering was established in 1994 to design, manufacture, sell, import, and export products and systems needed by the gas sector. In 2010, Ekol expanded its portfolio by becoming a distributor of Nidec Industrial Automation Systems. In 2013, it became the Turkey and Bulgaria distributor of Sevcon, a pioneer in the electric vehicle sector, making Ekol one of the first companies to work towards green energy. Further expanding its portfolio, Ekol Engineering became the local partner of BorgWarner Morse in 2019, Turntide Technologies in 2022, and Electrified Automation in 2023.


For the past 12 years, Ekol Engineering has been supplying ISO 26262/ASIL-D compliant auxiliary and traction inverters for the electric vehicle projects of companies such as Karsan, Ford Otosan, Türk Traktör, Pilotcar, Temsa, and Netlog, which produce electric buses, minibuses, trucks, golf carts, and cargo vehicles in Turkey. These inverters range from 10 kW to 350 kW at 400-800V and up to 20 kW at 48-96V.
